Founders Introduction

Founded in 2020 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, it opened its doors to the bubble tea market in India.

Big Scoop Cafe’s (BSC) success in Gujarat helped us launch our stores in Maharashtra with customers loving our premium-quality beverages, products, and services.
Boba Pearls (bubbles) freshly prepared to perfection continuously through the day Tea is sourced from the finest tea estates in Assam.
Strict quality controls for all ingredients Big Scoop Café (BSC) is known among its customers for its signature Taro Cream Shake. Its creamy, sweet, and savoury flavour balance and whipped texture make it the perfect complement to our fresh bobas.

Bigscoop Cafe is the brainchild of Mr. Anish Thankachen who loved Boba while living in Hong Kong but when he returned to India, Boba was not available. At least not the quality that you get in Eastern Asia. So he partnered with Mr. Vasanth Kumar who has extensive industry experience working at Cafe Coffee day and Havmor to develop the idea of creating the premium brand selling top quality Boba drinks, Coffee and Ice Cream products. Big Scoop Cafe products have been developed to create the perfect balance between the Indian palate and traditional Taiwanese Boba drinks. Menu includes a range of exotic and international flavors in Milk, Soda and Ice cream based items. Additionally, BigScoop Cafe also offers unique Sundaes, Hot drinks like Coffees and Quick fast food.

Mr. Vasanth Kumar

Mr. Vasanth Kumar is a seasoned professional with an impressive track record in the Food industry. With over 19 years of experience, he has successfully managed numerous stores across India, including cafes and ice cream brands. Mr. Kumar’s expertise and deep understanding of the market trends have proven invaluable in driving business growth and stability. In this article, we will explore the career journey of Mr. Vasanth Kumar and how his professional skills can make a brand stronger and more stable for the future.

He started his career in 2005 and has worked across all metropolises in India. In his last carrier experience at Café, he was handling 76 stores across Gujarat and South Rajasthan. He has also worked for an ice cream brand for a year and is the head of 178 stores across the country. With his experience and understanding of the futuristic market, he can help us go a long way. His professional skills will definitely make a brand stronger and more stable in the future.

Mr. Anish Thankachen

Mr. Anish Thankachen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales and marketing. Starting his career in 2008 as an executive-level employee, he quickly online sales, IT, hotels, textiles, and blockchain. Notably, he served as a CEO in Hong Kong, where he was responsible for international sales for a company headquartered in the city. With a vision of becoming a market leader, Mr. Thankachen made the decision to pursue his passion in the hotel industry and has also developed new recipes along the way. This blog will provide insights into Mr. Anish Thankachen’s professional journey and his contributions to the industry.
